We are way makers. We are serving our community by creating educational & vocational opportunities for individuals with exceptional needs. Brought together by a love of the unique and quirky in ourselves and others, we create a path for those who march to their own beat. Everyone has a gift and we are committed to meaningful ways to support our community’s special needs individuals in participating in society and thriving in their own lives. Currently, we are committed to fundraising and launching a mobile entrepreneurial venture selling special made items & flowers across the Triangle.
Our story
The world is not made for those who march to their own beat, but we believe we can change that. With pre-vocational training and experiential programs beginning in the teen years, individuals and adults can be better prepared for employment. While preparation is important, we also know the reality of workplace demands intersecting with exceptional needs, leave many individuals without any opportunity at modified employment. We know flexible work hours, a sensory friendly environment, paired with caring people providing support, more people can experience employment. Parent powered and with the support of volunteers and like minded businesses, we make a way in the world for the beauty and creative magic that comes with the freedom of being undeniably unique.
